First our band's name is "gene strobe"
Genre: punk, alternative, indie, emo, grunge, screamo, classic rock, etc.
Gene strobe comes from gin strawberry or gin strawb (read by some as "strobe"). hence the name.
The members of my band are me (in vocals), j--- (in lead guitars), r-- (in bass) and s--- (in drums).
The since takes place inside our high school classroom (we're college freshies now by the way). We are in our school uniform. We would be performing "Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin. I would first sing the accapela part (the song alternates between accapella and riffs). Close-up in the camera. I am the only person present in the frame. Background: high school corridor. At the end of the first accapella part my bandmates would appear out of nowhere and they would shove their hands against my hair. Next: music silence. Close-up of finger plucking the lead guitars. Close-up of fingers plucking the bass guitar and close-up of shoe hitting the pedal of the drums.
Random thought: I want to watch National Treasure now!!!
Wearing our blue school uniform, we begin to trash the classroom. Me, r-- and s--- smoke (j--- does not smoke) and me and r-- try to piss of s--- by grabbing his cigarette when he tries to puff it. We would try the cigarette butts everywhere. We would throw it in the floor. We would throw it in the ice tea. We then begin to jump between tables (while still playing and carrying our instruments). Me and r-- would eventually body slam each other in between tabkes and we would fall down with a thud. S--- would drink from his ice tea. While he is not looking, I would throw chalk and cigarettes into the ice tea and he would then drink it without knoing what really happened. In the middle of the song a live performance of the band is shown accentuated with overhead lights and smoke (the source: unknown!).
Sometimes, there would be a scene where we would push s--- over the ledge (our room was on the second floor) outside of the window. There is also a point were all of us would jump over the ledge (posing ala-High School Musical). There is also a point where I will jump from the ledge with the wries for the guitar was wrapped around my body. Because of my jump, the amplifier would be pulled to the window. Aside from that, my guitar wire was heavily entangled with the guitar wires of other members of the band. As a consequence, they will also be pushed from the ledge. The video would end with the band thrashing their instruments. Guitars were smashed on floors, amplifiers, tabletops and overturned tables.
